The deadline for applications for Grant Aid is 24th April at 12 noon and these will be considered on 2nd May 2018 at the Full Council meeting.

Uppingham Town Council Mayor Cllr Alec Crombie, MBE intends to mark the end of his term of office by undertaking a sponsored walk in order to raise money to support the Uppingham Hopper Bus. Following an objection received in the middle of 2017 Grant Thornton had indicated they were unable to certify the accounts for the year ending 31st March 2017.
They have now concluded their review of the objection and have concluded there are no further audit actions for them to take. You can read the correspondence on our finance page.

Essential maintenance and repairs are going to be undertaken by Rutland County Council to a well used path between Tod's Piece and Ayston Road.
The surface of the path and the various tree roots will be sorted out and the work to do that will take approximately 3 days. During this time some or all of this path may be closed to allow work to progress.
Work commences on 26th March 2018.
