Leicestershire Fire and Rescue are running a campaign in the lead up to winter, urging people to get their chimney swept and make sure they have working fire alarms. From next week the 28th August 2017 the 747 bus will terminate at the shopping centre Leicester and not the bus station.
This will shave about 10 minutes off the journey time and give the bus a better chance of keeping to its scheduled times. Some studies were done and this showed most people get off the bus at the shopping centre.
