The Queen Victoria Jubilee Fountain in Uppingham has been restored, thanks to a donation by a local resident. The Grade II listed monument was built in 1887 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of Queen Victoria and has now been cleaned by a specialist company.

From 12th April until 5th July 2021 the Manton Road (A6003) will be subject to a road closure due to building improvements at Manton bridge. During this time a diversion will be in place and the Centrebus RF1 route between Corby and Melton Mowbray will also be affected.
The bus service will continue to serve each settlement on the route, with the exception of Gunthorpe,
