Tod's Piece WCs - Your Help Please!

The WCs on Tod's Piece have been open now for a few months - in the main we have had few issues. In the school holidays though we have had two instances now when we have had to remove an excessive amount of toilet paper from the toilets and the room itself. The toilet pan had been filled to the rim causing a significant blockage. Furthermore the disabled arm that helps those with disabilities use the toilet has been damaged, so it is now in need of repair.

In making available a public toilet we realise there will be ongoing maintenance and cleaning - what we hoped was that there wouldn't be any damage causing us to close it for periods of the day when it is meant to be available. We are currently looking at CCTV footage to understand who might be behind the damage.

If you know your children or relatives/friends are using the WCs, can you ask them to do so responsibly. We are keen to make this facility available as much as possible to able and disabled visitors to Tod's Piece, especially over the school holidays.

Thank you for your support.
