Tod's Piece - Corona Virus Update
Following the Prime Minister's address yesterday and advice from Rutland County Council, Uppingham Town Council have made the decision to close Tod's Piece play areas and the public toilets until further notice.
The park itself will remain open as people are permitted to walk and exercise once a day, either alone or with members of their immediate household. All other gatherings on Tod's Piece of more than two people are banned and the park is likely to be monitored by the police.
Social distancing, as set out by the government, is absolutely critical and so people must stay at least two metres apart at all times.
Please check the Uppingham Town Council website for further updates.
