Road Closure - R1 Bus Service

R1 Bus Service through Caldecott & Lyddington on Thursday, 16 February 2023

Information for the parish:

Due to road works and closure on part of Main Street in Lyddington, the R1 will only be able to travel through the village at certain times of the day.

The works are due to take place between 0800 and 1600. Therefore, the R1 bus will only be able to travel through Lyddington at 0736 and 1739 when coming from Corby, and at 1638 and 1753 when coming from Melton Mowbray.

At all other times the R1 will travel between Uppingham and Caldecott using the A6003, and Caldecott passengers should use the bus stop at The Green only.
