NHS Ambulance Visiting Uppingham Market
The Town Council has secured the NHS ambulance, and staff will be visiting Uppingham Market to provide Covid and Flu vaccinations on market day to the community. The PCN in Rutland are not offering Covid to their patients.
The dates are Friday 6th October. Friday 20th October and Friday 10th November. No appointments required.

Black & Green Bins Not Collected
Due to vehicles being off the road and staff sickness, Biffa were unable to collect some Black & Green bins in Uppingham yesterday. They will return to collect the bins as soon as possible which will hopefully be today.

Black Bins - Adderley Street
Due to roadworks/blocked access Biffa were unable to collect the black bins in Adderley Street, Uppingham on 13th September 2023. They will keep trying until access is available although, this may not be until Saturday. Adderley Street is on the Farms & Lodges round which is why their black bins, rather than their grey bins, are emptied this week.

Uppingham Neighbourhood Plan
I have been advised that the submission version of the Neighbourhood Plan has been approved for consultation by Rutland County Council Cabinet this morning. They were highly complimentary about the work Uppingham have put into developing an innovative plan. Community Speedwatch Training

Green Waste Bin Collections
Due to the green waste round starting late on Monday which has had a knock-on effect as the week has progressed, Biffa were unable to collect the green bins in Uppingham yesterday. They are hoping to complete all green bin collections in Uppingham by the end of today.
Please advise residents to leave their bins out until they have been collected.
