747 Bus Receives further support from Councils
Rutland County Council and Leicestershire County Council have announced continued funding for the 747 bus service.

Cottesmore Hunt - Press Release
On Wednesday 6th, of November Uppingham Town Council considered the motion that, when approached by the Cottesmore Hunt, whether to approve the use of the Market Place on New Years' Day. To date the Hunt have made no application to hold a meet in the Market Place this year.

Would you like to be an Uppingham Snow Warden?
If you would like to help your community this winter, Rutland County Council are running a training session for new snow wardens.
Time is of the essence though as we need names to be emailed to the Town Clerk as soon as possible! There is a meeting at Rutland County Council offices, Catmose on 15th October 2019.

Bus Services - North Street East from 12th to 15th September 2019
Please be advised that due to utilities work along North Street East on the above dates, two-way traffic lights will be in operation and the bus stops outside the Co-Op Car Park will not be in use. A temporary bus stop will be sited further along the road and passengers will be advised to use the following bus stops instead as follows:

Bus Services though Belton 28 May - 14 June 2019
Due to a road closure on Nether Street and Littleworth Lane scheduled for the above dates, Centrebus Services (R)47 and 747 will not be able to access the village of Belton.
Rutland County Council will provide a free shuttle bus at certain times of day, please see below for further information.
Unfortunately there will be no Saturday Service.

Annual Town Meeting - Annual Report Delivered by Mayor

Road Closure High Street Morcott Affecting R47 Bus Service
This just in from Rutland CC:
We just wished to advise that due to a road closure on High Street in Morcott on Thursday 9th May 2019, the Centrebus services 12 and (R)47 will be subject to a small diversion along the A47 and the bus stops on the High Street will not be in use. Market Place ATM Is Now Charging - Cashzone
From the start of this week Cashzone who operate the ATM in the Market Place are charging £0.95 per debit card transaction.
Machines operated by the same group of companies in other retail premises in Uppingham remain free of any charges. The Council have conveyed disappointment to Cashzone at this move given the imminent closure of Barclays Bank and their ATM on High Street West.
