Christmas Tree - Saturday 24th November 2018

The Christmas Tree for the Market Place will be installed on Saturday 24th November 2018 between 8am and 12 noon. The Market Place will be closed to traffic but High Street East will remain open.

Anyone parking their cars on Friday in the Market Place is asked to have them moved by 8am at the latest.

The annual Rutland NSPCC Carol Concert takes place once more at All Saints' Parish Church in Oakham on Monday 3rd December 2018 from 7:30pm.

Spring Back Way - Uppingham

Spring Back Way - Uppingham

At Full Council on 7th November 2018 members accepted Rutland County Council's recommendation for a temporary trial of double yellow lines around the bend to alleviate congestion at busy times. Double yellow lines will be applied to both sides of the road. The finer details of the trial period will be available shortly and will be planned to start in late January 2019.
