Lateral Flow Test
There is now an extensive network of locations across Rutland where you can collect a Covid-19 self-test (Lateral Flow) kit. These are for people who have no Covid symptoms, but want to check that they are Covid-free before attending a workplace, appointment or social event.

Lateral Flow Kits for the Community
Rutland County Council's mobile testing van is on hand to help you, your friends and family stay healthy while we are all getting back to the things we have missed.
Visit the van to collect home test kits or to find the answers to any questions you might have about testing. The van will alternate between sites at Rutland Water each Wednesday from 9am to 3pm in September.

Have your say on bus services in Rutland
Rutland County Council is developing a bus services improvement plan in collaboration with the county's bus operators and is asking for input from people across the county.

HM Queen's Platinum Jubilee, 2022
Planning for 2022's Platinum Jubilee Weekend in Rutland (the first weekend in June) is under way, led by the Lord Lieutenant. Market Square toilets
Uppingham's Market Square toilets are owned and maintained by Rutland County Council. Uppingham Town Council has been in a negotiation for some time with the County Council and Barclays Bank, whereby the Town Council will take over ownership and full responsibility for the toilets and Barclays will install a 24-hour cash machine in the outside wall.
