Monthly Councillor Surgery - 30th April 2016

This coming Saturday both County and local councillors will be available in the Town Hall for a drop in surgery between 10am and 11am. On duty this month will be Marc Oxley, Lucy Stephenson and local town councillor, David Casewell.

Surgeries will be held over the coming months on the last Saturday of each month.

David Ainslie starts his second term today as Mayor

David Ainslie starts his second term today as Mayor

At the annual council meeting last night in the Town Hall, Cllr David Ainslie was elected to Mayor of Uppingham. Also appointed last night was Alec Crombie MBE as Deputy Mayor.

Council also made great progress appointing committee chairs and vice chairs. Four new councillors were welcomed to their first full meeting - Mark Shaw, Bill O'Leary, Miranda Jones and David Brown.
