The Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland and the county of Rutland invites the community to a 'thank-you' to the military to a Party in the Park, which will take place at Cutts Close in Oakham on Sunday 8th September, noon until 4.30pm.
There will be a barbeque, drinks, beer tent, military bikers and more.

Uppingham Town Council plan to capture aerial footage of the WW1 Commemoration Procession on Sunday 11th November 2018. Filming will be done from a small drone operated by a licensed user with the aim of adding a record to the town archive on what should be a fitting tribute to those who fought and lost their lives in the Great War.
