Following an objection received in the middle of 2017 Grant Thornton had indicated they were unable to certify the accounts for the year ending 31st March 2017.
They have now concluded their review of the objection and have concluded there are no further audit actions for them to take. You can read the correspondence on our finance page.

Uppingham Town Council have resolved to keep the precept at the same level the current financial year resulting in no additional charges to the community for the year starting 1st April 2018. More information in the press release attached:

The year end accounts were approved and signed off on 1st June 2016 and are available from 3rd June 2016 for 30 working days to be examined by any member of the public.
