Uppingham Town Council is now receiving daily updates from Rutland County Council about winter weather conditions and how likely they are to affect transport in and around the town.
We are also pleased to report that all grit bins in the town have been stocked up for use in the event of snow and ice. If you notice that your bin has not been refilled, please contact the Town Clerk on 01572 822681.

It was a successful day in Uppingham for MacMillan Info Bus which provides an outreach service in rural communities - on Tuesday they had 69 visitors to the bus and held 22 in depth conversation with local residents and passers by in town for the day.
