Meeting with Barclays Bank Representatives
We have held a meeting with Barclays and put forward our concerns about problems that the branch closure could potentially cause in Uppingham. We have had a very constructive meeting with representatives from the bank and discussed some potential solutions to mitigate some of these issues. Residents Warned About Scam Email
Rutland County Council is warning residents not to respond to unsolicited emails offering refunds for an overpayment.
Several Rutland residents have contacted the Council after receiving an email that appears to come from HM Revenue & Customs and claims to offer a refund following a City Council overpayment for late 2017.

Christmas to New Year
The Town Hall will be closed from 4pm 21st December and re-opens on 2nd January 2019. There are some bookings during this period and arrangements have been made for access with hirers.
The Tod's Piece WCs will close on Saturday 22nd December and re-open on 2nd January 2019.
