We're Watching You!

Help us identify the minority of dog owners who don't clear up after their dogs

For some time now feedback has been given to councillors and the clerk about what appears to be an increasing problem with dog fouling. At the full council meeting on 4th March a proposal was agreed to join a campaign that will be launched nationally by 'Keeping Britain Tidy'.

The campaign known as 'We're Watching You' - will increase awareness of the issue and seek to enlist the support of the local community and responsible dog owners to encourage the small minority to change their approach and tidy up any mess created.

Uppingham Town Council working with the local dog warden and Uppingham in Bloom volunteers will distribute and erect some 'eye catching' posters to help support the campaign.

How can you help? - if you have a particular problem near your home or an open space you use, please report it to the Town Clerk either using the form below or by calling us on 01572 822681. We will be working with the Dog Warden for Rutland to be more visible in the problem areas you let us know about.
